Fuel Injectors: Nearly all domestic cars made after the year 1986, came from the factory with fuel injection. A computer control opens the fuel injectors to be able to allow fuel into the engine, that replaced the carburator who's job originally was to carry out the mixing of the fuel and air. This has caused better fuel economy and lower emissions overall. The fuel injector is really a tiny electric valve that opens closes with an electric signal.
